Glad to see a new post, and I am very sorry to hear about back trouble- it's something I can relate to. Wishing you a speedy recovery and may you find yourself a comfy couch and a big bottle of ibuprofen after hours. I have a bunch of Rem 5's waiting for a new lever and it will be a long wait. Keep looking around.

Richard & Ryan- Good to know that Navajo is still spoken. Thanks!

Ted- It's always exciting when I see a new machine I haven't seen before. Even more exciting when a customer brings in a machine that looks trashed and I can clean and repair it and the customer is thrilled to be able to use it again.

Janet- WOW! Some typewriters really get around. It was a pleasure to meet you and work on such a cool machine. By the way, I'm working on putting up a video of the typing contest. Chris took a great video on his smart phone and it is funny and loud. Hope to have it up soon.Tom Furrierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04474840038948422845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1296810989330430559.post-72218475571052439122013-06-25T03:20:13.423-07:002013-06-25T03:20:13.423-07:00That Comet DeLuxe has really gotten around, by the...That Comet DeLuxe has really gotten around, by the way.
