Lots Of Typewriters Under the Tree

Here's a small sample of typewriters sold this week.

You don't see many Tab O Matics around.
This Sears Achiever sold yesterday.
A lucky young lady is going to fall in love with this beauty in the morning.
Another present under the tree.
Same for this one too.

  1. We are happy to hear of your great holiday season. Our girls are in the demographic you mentioned. One received an Olympia SF for her birthday and the other will have an Olympia Socialite waiting for her tomorrow morning.

That Olympia Simplex is gorgeous! If I can't figure out how to get the platen rollers on mine replaced I'll have to ship it to you for repairs.

    Happy holidays!

  2. You've made many people happy this Christmas season, and the rest of the year for that matter!

I do hope you get to rest during these holidays.

Best wishes for a prosperous New Year.

  3. Thank you for the very nice post. I am truly happy your shop is doing quite well. If I still lived in PA I would pay a visit, with a machine at least also. It is rewarding to see young people getting interested in something other than computers and better if it is typewriters.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  4. A very interesting post!

It's wonderful to have a typewriter waiting for us under the Christmas tree! I got lucky this year and received one :)

    Merry Xmas!

  5. Looks like lots of happy new owners. I got a typewriter under the tree myself, a nice little Princess. Merry Christmas!

  6. Merry Christmas!!

I wish I was somewhere nearer to you so that I could bring my typewriters in, or possibly just to have husband leave a surprise under the tree for me. That Olympia Simplex really is gorgeous. So was the Corona. Am very jealous! I don't yet have anything with the glass-top keys, and would really like one eventually.

  9. Never fails to cheer me up to hear you are busy in the shop (but do take some days off, for goodness' sake!)

  10. Intrigued by the "yankee swap". Great to hear that business is good, long may it continue, though expect a slight post-Christmas lull? Happy New Year, Tom.

  11. Beautiful machines. Isn't it great to see an interest in typewriters among the teen crowd? I hope your business in 2012 continues to do well. I've sent you an email about featuring your blog and a story about your typewriter store on my webpage.
