About this blog
This blog is about the daily activities in a busy typewriter shop. I want to share with you the many interesting people who come in here, the beautiful machines I get and most of all the great typewriter stories that people share with me!
This is great news, Tom! Our best wishes to you.

And I always thought Batman used a black Voss!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you are on the mend and typing away. Just keep going. My mom has had two of these replacements and now she's jogging on the beach (at age 80).
It's great that you are successfully recovering. All the best.
ReplyDeleteWhere do we mail cards?!

Best wishes for your recovery, Tom! It'll be good to have you back making typewriters sing again! (:
ReplyDeleteSpeedy recovery to you, Tom.
ReplyDeleteGet well, buddy! I think of you every time I use my beautiful '34 Underwood! I'm taking good care of her - you take good care of yourself and don't rush anything!
ReplyDeleteI hope your rehab process goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteI have another typewriter nerd moment to share with you. This evening my family celebrated Apollo 11 day by watching the Star Trek episode "Assignment: Earth". I totally geeked out on what appeared to be a Royal Electress run by Gary Seven's computer.
Tom, sounds like you are going to have a great recovery, wishing you good health as you continue the hard work of rehab.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for all your good wishes! I can't wait to get back to work soon. Still have much hard work to do before then.
ReplyDeleteRichard- A black Voss would be the perfect battypewriter. It would have a raised bat insignia on the top cover. Nice going.
Mike- You can send a card to the shop. Jack picks up the mail and messages twice a week. Thanks.
Ton- Thanks. Have good news for you. Will email you soon.
Dwayne- I have typewriter nerd moments all the time. Thanks for sharing one of yours.
Tom, total knee replacement! I had no idea! So glad you are recovering well. Keep up the good work, and I'll see you there before the end of the Mayan calendar.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. Tom. No doubt we'll hear from you when you're back on your feet.
ReplyDeleteSame Bat time,
Same Bat channel.
Yikes!! glad to hear recovery is going well
