Get Outside And Type - It Makes You Feel Good!

Having a wicked good time at Spring Point in South Portland.

Typing, dinner and beer - a great combination.

At the LFK Pub in Portland's West End.

A beautiful afternoon for roof top typing in downtown Boston.

  1. Typing outdoors on a bright summer weekend with good company and an Olivetti Lettera 22, nothing like it indeed! As always, glad to hear business has been good.

Falling for a Royal P is something I can relate to. (:

    Happy 4th, Tom!

  2. Very nice places. They all look like perfect places to visit, relax, and type. Nice to see you and Abraham meet up for some typing.

I agree 100% with the joy of typing outdoors. I do it quite often in my yard and on my recent trip to the mid-West I made a few friends from my typing out and about the small towns we visited.

Good to hear the shop is booming.

  3. How fun! I have four typewriters --one from you all the way here in SF -- but I have never taken them outside to type.

  4. What wonderful type-outs and type-ins. I spent much of the day on my porch using a typewriter to take notes on my reading. Time well spent.

  7. Ton- I agree about the L-22. It's become my favorite typer. I'm also in love with Royal "P"'s. Now if I can just find my Vogue P.

Bill- It's amazing how many people you meet when you type outdoors. People really respond in such a positive way. Thanks!

Pamela- I remember selling your husband the machine and almost ruining your Christmas surprise. You should take a machine outdoors and type. The feeling is so different. I guarantee you'll love it.

Richard- Thanks! I always know your into it. Congrats on finishing the book. Can't wait to read it. I'll be selling them in the store for sure.
