Fall Type-In and More Shop Stuff

A rainy day brought us inside for the afternoon.

The winner got this pin and a Olivetti Lettera 31.

Vogue print on this Woodstock is a rare find.

Martin Tytell's dealer sticker is on the back.

His dealer shift key is very faded.

Typing in the courtyard of the Friends House on Beacon Hill.

This rebuilt Super Speed has caps only Bulletin Gothic type.

My friend Peter send me this page of L.C. Smith large type.

                                                                  THE END

  1. What great stories, as always!

It looks like the type-in was cozy and fun.

Whoever asked Tytell to swap all the old type in that Woodstock with Vogue must have been a whimsical and wealthy individual ...

Nice to hear about Matt Cidoni! I'm glad he is still into typewriters.

    1. Thanks Richard! Type-Ins are always great fun. It was cool to work on a machine that Mr. Tytell worked on. I was amazed at the quality of the soldering job he did.

    1. What do you mean thinking about it. The pin comes with a story (your a typing champion). So happy you came to the type-in.

  5. All the E-retailers in India have same queries & problems, the primary concern they have how to streamline product information coming from different sources.
