Each row of desks are a different style |
Zoom in and try to identify as many objects as you can. |
This Monarch No.3 works great again. |
This is one cool setup. A typewriter with it's own stand. |
These 3-bank machines are neat little compact machines. |
I love the thumb wear mark on the space bar. |
This folding Corona is off to Pittsburgh. |
Does anybody know what application this keyboard is for? |
When you buy a lot of machines, sometimes they come with stuff. |

That would be a fun place to go to school!
ReplyDeleteI love the people who don't know the folding stand is in the bottom of some of those Underwood cases...sometimes that is the only way to get one cheaply. I love mine and use t fairly often; one of the laundromats I use has chairs but no tables and it is very helpful there.
Hi Mark, What a great idea to type at the laundromat. Beats just sitting there reading. Thanks for your comments!
DeleteThat is hands down the coolest classroom I've ever seen! And some really amazing typewriters.
ReplyDeleteSophia- Thanks for your generous comments. The pictures of the classroom don't do it justice. It's way cooler in person.
DeleteAnother wonderful post. What a perfect history classroom!
ReplyDeleteAugusta Maine?? I want that one!!
ReplyDeleteWell you can't have it! Just kidding. I was hoping you would see that sticker. Thanks Janet.
DeleteHi Sharon, Glad you found my blog. I write it on different typewriters and scan the pages into the computer and save them into my photos file. All the pictures I take on my phone and save them to the same photos file. Glad your are enjoying typing again. It's very addictive. Wait till you try typing on a older manual machine. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI haven't looked at most blogs I used to follow in a long time, and this post was so nice to see. Thank you!
